Willy Caballero has agreed terms and passed a medical ahead of a move to Chelsea, according to reports.
The Argentine left Manchester City this summer and is set to become Antonio Conte’s new No.2 goalkeeper.
Caballero will replace Asmir Begovic, who left for Bournemouth, to give back up to Thibaut Courtois.
Conte has been frustrated so far this summer and Caballero could be his first signing since winning the title.
Conte is keen to press ahead with plans for a new striker, midfielder, left-wing-back and centre-back.
But moves have stalled with Everton digging their heels over a fee for Romelu Lukaku
